Caution

This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities or by persons lacking suitable experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a responsible person for their protection or have been instructed on the use of the device. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. This device can be used by children aged 8 years or more and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities or persons lacking suitable experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have received instruction on the safe use of the device and understand the hazards.

Use and operating principle

Squeeze together, place on your skin and release your grip. You can move the suction cup over your skin or leave it in place.

If you find the application unpleasant, squeeze the BellaBambi® less before placing it on your skin or use a softer intensity. Always pay attention to your sense of wellbeing.

CAUTION:
To avoid skin marks, do not use BellaBambi® longer than 20 seconds in a static location. Never use it in a static location on your face.

Do not apply on:

Nipples, sexual organs, anus, eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth, lymph nodes, armpits, or the inguinal region.

Consult your physician before use if any of the following conditions applies:

Pregnancy, acute injuries, open wounds, inflammations, varicose veins, disposition to haematoma and ulcers caused by diabetes or vascular diseases, irritable skin disorders such as psoriasis or urticaria (hives), blood-thinning medication therapies, tumours, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), as well as any unclear or acute medical conditions.

Cleaning and storage

BellaBambi® can be cleaned very easily in the dishwasher or by hand with mild soap suds. After drying, treat with a suitable disinfectant for silicones (without phenol derivatives or
alkyl amines (glycoproteins)).
Please note: If your BellaBambi® is very dirty, you can boil it like a pacifier. Use a clean pot, cover your BellaBambi® completely with water, and boil it for at least five minutes.

Do not allow children to clean the suction cup without supervision.

Recommendations

An oil to assist lubricity is helpful for some applications. BellaBambi® can also be used with hyaluronan liquid, cellulite creams or body lotions.

Correct use and functional principle

BellaBambi® multi is to be used for pleasant and effective massages with negative pressure – on yourself or on other persons. Massages can be relaxing or stimulating, and are popular for treatment of stiff or tense muscles, pains and fatigue.
With BellaBambi® multi you can provide a negative pressure massage on individual parts of the human body. The device is not a medical product and is not indicated for medical purposes.

⚠ BellaBambi® is not to be used under any circumstances in the following cases:

  • high-risk pregnancy
  • on injured skin, skin dysfunctionality and skin inflammations, e.g. abrasion, ulcers, sunburn
  • blood and lymphatic diseases
  • skin cancer
  • Do not apply BellaBambi® on:
  • Eyes and eyelids
  • Ears, lips and mouth
  • Nipples and sexual organs
  • Anus
  • Known allergies against product materials and accessory components

In the following cases, the manufacturer recommends a comprehensive examination of the circumstances: pregnancy, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), cancer, tumors, disposition to hematomas and ulcers (e.g. caused by vascular diseases), irritable skin disorders such as psoriasis or urticaria (hives), with blood-thinning medication therapies, as well as any unclear medical conditions.

In the following cases, the manufacturer recommends a comprehensive examination of the circumstances: pregnancy, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), cancer, tumors, disposition to hematomas and ulcers (e.g. caused by vascular diseases), irritable skin disorders such as psoriasis or urticaria (hives), with blood-thinning medication therapies, as well as any unclear medical conditions.Should your skin react sensitively, e.g. haematoma form quickly on the skin or if the skin becomes red, irritated or itchy, or general discomfort or pain is caused, then immediately discontinue with the treatment and consult your physician.

*Cupping marks are not to be confused with haematomas or bruises which result from traumatic influences (e.g. punches, spills, etc.). Cupping marks indicate blood extravasation into the fascial tissue, which happens mostly without damaging vessels, and is never (!) painful. Furthermore, these marks disappear without becoming yellowish and greenish.

Safety precautions

Attention: For your own safety, please adhere to the following safety precautions and make other users of the device aware of these. Keep this User Manual in a safe place.
  • Before putting this device into operation, read the user manual carefully and completely and adhere to the sequence of the procedures.
  • After usage suction pump and applications can be restored in the soft bag. There is no packaging material that has to be disposed.
  • This device must only be connected to alternating current. Check that the voltage indicated on the label of the casing corresponds to that of the mains voltage.
  • Do not pull the power cord over sharp edges, nor pinch it or let it hang free. Keep the power cord well away from heat and oil.
  • Ensure that the plug is close to the place where you wish to use this device.
  • Avoid tripping over power cord and flexible tubes.
  • The device may not be placed on the floor in the bathroom.
  • Do not use near water.
  • Do not immerse the device in water. Under no circumstances may water or other fluid penetrate the device!
  • Do not cover the device with garments, towels or other materials to avoid overheating.
  • Do not place the device on hot surfaces, such as stove plates, and do not use near an open flame.
  • Switch of the device after each use. Do not pull on the power cord to remove the mains plug. Never plug in, unplug or otherwise handle the plug with wet hands.
  • Do not use the device without supervision.
  • Unplug the device before cleaning.
  • Regularly check the device and the accessories for possible damage. The device may not be used if:
  • the casing of the pump or the power supply has been damaged
  • it has been dropped onto a hard surface
  • In both instances, qualified technical personnel or our service department should inspect the device. Never try to repair the device yourself.
  • Children after the age of eight (8) and persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities and/or by persons lacking the required understanding of the equipment and how it is used, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or they are given instructions on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use the device as a toy. Children are not allowed to clean the device without supervision.
  • Do not exceed dosages and time limits as recommended in this user manual.
  • Only use accessories that have been recommended by the manufacturer.

First use

  1. Before each usage clean all applications as described in section „Cleaning“ on page 11
  2. Select the appropriate BellaBambi® application according to the size of the body part and connect it to the suction pump with the connection tube.
    ◦ BellaBambi® mini is suitable for small and delicate parts of the body, e.g. face, hands and feet.
    ◦ BellaBambi® original is most suitable on larger surfaces, e.g. back, calf and neck.
    ◦ BellaBambi® maxi is suitable for bigger areas, e.g. back, stomach and upper thigh.
  3. Plug in the device and switch on.
  4. Turn the knob to the maximum right and place BellaBambi® on your skin. As soon as it has adhered, reduce the suction power until it is noticeable and comfortable if necessary
  5. Use in accordance with the intended purpose and the safety instructions in these instructions for use.
  6. Clean thoroughly after each use, as it is described in section „Cleaning“ on page 11
  7. Switch off and unplug the device from the mains socket.

Please note that the suction pump is equipped with an internal electronic timer, which automatically counts down and switches off the pump after 15 minutes. The countdown always starts anew when the pump is switched on.

Applications

Always use BellaBambi® on skin and muscle tissue. Never apply it on the spinal cord or on protruding bones. Glands and lymph nodes must not be treated.

Always adopt the suction power to your personal well-being.

Cleaning

Clean the device only with a moist (never dripping wet!) cloth. If necessary, use a few drops of dishwashing detergent.

  1. Hand wash BellaBambi® applications in warm water using mild soap or diluted dishwashing detergent, or place it in dishwasher.
  2. Dry BellaBambi® application thoroughly.
  3. Disinfect BellaBambi® by applying a disinfectant spray, suitable for silicone. The disinfectant should not contain phenol derivatives or alkylamines (glucoprotamines).
  4. Leave disinfectant on for a while, according to the instructions of the manufacturer.
  5. Then rinse again with water to remove any residues.
  6. Allow BellaBambi® to dry thoroughly.

In the event of problems

BellaBambi® does not adhere to the skin

Suction pump is not connected to the power supply or switched off.→ Connect the plug to the mains supply and switch on the appliance.

Applications are not connected correctly. → Control the connecting parts of the suction pump and the application.

Skin is very hairy. → Use some lubricant, eventually shaving could be necessary.

The opening area of BellaBambi® does not cover completely. → Use a smaller BellaBambi® or squeeze it a little bit.

Timer has expired. → Use the On/Off button.

Application is unpleasing

Suction power is set too high. → Reduce suction power until it is noticeable but comfortable.

No lubricating skin care is used. → Use lubricating skin care, if possible.

Not enough lubricating skin care is used. → Use more lubricating skin care, or another product, which does stronger support gliding.

Maintenance and repair

Any repairs on the suction pump must be carried out by the manufacturer only. Never open the device yourself. Please do not manipulate the device in any way. Otherwise, the warranty will become null and void. Should your device be defective, please contact the following address:

Disposal

Your device contains various materials, which can be recycled. To dispose of the device, take it to a local municipal waste collection point. Do not dispose of the device with your household waste. Please enquire at your municipal recycling facilities of possibilities for throwing away old or defective electronic equipment. If this is not possible, you can send the device back to the manufacturer for proper disposal. In this case, the sender will pay postage or shipping costs.
